Hate him or love him (mostly hate), Teemo waddles into Wild Rift as a part of the Yordle Expedition. The Champion does get some changes compared to his Summoners Rift counterpart, however.
The Yordle Expedition already added four other Yordles to the game, namely Lulu, Kennen, Tristana and Corki, with Teemo being the next in line. Teemo in Wild Rift will play out a little differently, with his kit being altered to better fit the Wild Rift gameplay. Toxic Shot is now Teemo’s passive, which will poison the target, while his invisibility, Guerilla Warfare,is now his third ability. His signature mushrooms in the form of Noxious Trap didn’t go anywhere, however.

Riot Games announced the reveal of Teemo on their Twitter account and also added two skins for the champion in the form of Cottontail Teemo and Little Devil Teemo, going all-in on Teemo’s reputation with the latter one. Players have until January 29 to earn the Yordles as rewards during the Yordle Expedition event. Afterwards they’ll be available for purchase, costing 5,500 Blue Motes (or 725 Wild Cores).
Riot Games has been pushing Wild Rift quite a lot lately, revealing a ton of upcoming content that still lies ahead for 2021 and releasing regular updates and patches. Some of the upcoming content includes an expansion of the open Beta to the Americas in March and adding more champions to the game.
