Team Liquid reveals VALORANT roster

After it was teased on their social media pages, Team Liquid have finally revealed their VALORANT roster that will compete under their banner. Their roster consists of experienced FPS veterans and talented young players alike. With the announcement Team Liquid follows in the footsteps of teams such as T1 and 100 Thieves, who already have a VALORANT roster.

The biggest name on the roster is probably Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, who will leave the professional CS:GO scene to now compete in VALORANT. The Belgian is joined by players such as James “Kryptix” Affleck, Dom “soulcas” Sulcas, Adam “ec1s” Eccles and Travis “L1NK” Mendoza. The roster was previously known as team fish123, but after the departure of Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks he was replaced by ScreaM.

The roster will play in Europe instead of North-America and will train in the Netherlands, where Team Liquid’s facility is located. Since the start of competitive VALORANT, the team has been one of the best around, currently sitting at the fourth place in the rankings. With Team Liquid entering the fray the battle for EU dominance in VALORANT has begun.

Some notable finishes of the roster came at the We!Play Invitation, where they managed to secure second place. They would eventually end up falling 0:2 to VALORANT powerhouse G2 Esports in the finals. Before that, the team was also active in some smaller tournaments early on, most of which they won convincingly even against teams such as Ninjas in Pyjamas.
