Tarik is clear: “Between CS:GO and VALORANT, CS:GO is the harder shooter”

Tarik has never been one to shy away from giving his opinion on all FPS-related matters, and he’s just lit a fire under the debate which shooter is more difficult, CS:GO or VALORANT.

When Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella returned to playing CS:GO when he was signed by Team Liquid, Counter-Strike fans were quick to mock VALORANT. Nitr0 was one of the many players that made the switch to Riot Games’ FPS and pursue a career there.

Unfortunately for Cannella, his return to the big stage was underwhelming. After beating Evil Geniuses in their opening game, Liquid lost their next two games against FaZe and NAVI in the BLAST Premier Spring, the latter eliminating Liquid from the tournament entirely.

While watching the NAVI annihilation, Tarik jokingly said he’d seriously reconsider moving back to VALORANT if he were nitr0.

“Nitr0 was farming these motherf**kers in VALORANT, now he comes over to CS:GO and he’s having a hard time – it’s f**ked,” he noted. ”At that point, I’m considering to go back if I were him. Motherf**kers in Valorant weren’t shooting back.”

“CS is just harder, it’s just harder,” he concluded.

All eyes will definitely be on nitr0 for the foreseeable future. After all, he’s the first Tier 1 CS:GO player to make the switch to VALORANT and back to Valve’s shooter.

And to be fair to nitr0, the matches that Liquid lost were against a FaZe team that’s firing on all cylinders, and NAVI, arguably the best team in the world.
