T1 VALORANT brings back brax to lineup

With less than a week to go until the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Three, T1 has announced it brought brax back to their starting roster.

Together with the move, the organization announced they will be promoting their Academy player Anthony “dawn” Hagopian to the main lineup.

The duo will be replacing IGL Sam “DaZeD” Marine and Ha “Spyder” Jung-Woo.

DaZeD and T1 have moved on, claiming differences in vision as the culprit. Spyder is taking a break from competitive gaming to heal from an injury.

If you’ve followed the VALORANT scene for a while, you will know that brax’ first stint with T1 was rather short. Head coach David Denis didn’t hide why their first time working together wasn’t successful. He and brax had a conversation where no one held back, and it became clear the match wasn’t a good fit at the time.

This time around it should be a better fit.

With regards to Academy player Dawn, Denis says he regards him as a top-level talent.

With DaZeD gone, the new IGL will be Rahul “curry” Nemani. With his aggressive and dynamic tendencies, Denis feels Nemani is the perfect fit.

These changes come after a less than successful VCT Stage Two result. T1 only managed two Challengers main events, where they were eliminated quickly both times.

With time and opportunity running out to make it to Champions, T1 is counting on this roster shuffle to make a deep run in the tournaments to come.
