T1 add Skadoodle to VALORANT roster

A big announcement coming out from T1 as they sign former Counter-Strike professional player Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham to their new VALORANT roster. In recent years Skadoodle played under the banner of Cloud9, but has been inactive in the competitive scene as of early 2019.

T1 has been one of the first organizations to complete a VALORANT roster, siging Keven “AZK” Larivière and Braxton “Brax” Pierce in April and March respectively. They will now be reunited with Skadoodle for VALORANT as the trio previously played together on iBUYPOWER in CS:GO. To fill the remaining two slots in the roster T1 picked up Austin “crashies” Roberts and Victor “food” Wong. Crashies played for numerous teams in the past four years, including stints on Bad News Bears and Ben’s Anime Team while Food has been active in the CS:GO scene since 2015, playing for teams such as Singularity, eUnited and Swole Patrol.

On Twitter Skadoodle announced he was “excited to compete again” and he thanked T1 for the opportunity. It’ll be a return to form for Skadoodle as he has been inactive in the competitive Counter-Strike scene since early 2019.

Skadoodle has been playing a lot of VALORANT ever since the closed beta was released, which he has streamed on his Twitch channel. We already saw Skadoodle compete in VALORANT during the 100 Thieves Invitational, where he joined Team Shroud and ended up winning the event. We’ll likely be seeing a lot more from him now that the full game has been released.
