Streamer Reckful reportedly committed suicide

On July 2 popular streamer Bryan “Reckful” Bernstein has reportedly committed suicide. Reckful had long been open with his mental health struggles.

First reports of Reckful’s suicide appeared on Twitter by his ex-girlfriend BlueGoesMew.

Fans grew worried about the tweet possibly referring to Reckful, who had last tweeted a very public proposal to his other ex-girlfriend BeccaTilts, before saying that “he feels bad for anyone, who has to deal with my insanity”.

These worries were confirmed by BlueGoesMew in a later tweet:

According to other reports Reckful’s roommate has also confirmed the streamer’s passing.

We will update this article as we confirm further information.

While he was a popular variety streamer with more than 900,000 followers on Twitch, Reckful was best known as one of the best World of Warcraft players. Reckful was also successful in Hearthstone, where he managed to come second at the BlizzCon Invitational 2013. In 2018 he branched out into game development with Everland, a social online open world game that was scheduled to release this year.
