The Mid-Season Patch changed up the meta for Warzone quite a bit as buffs and nerfs for several weapons went into effect. Typ-63 or MP5, which had dominated earlier, are now weakened quite a bit. Here are the new meta weapons for close quarters combat in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded.

MAC-10
Ever since its release the MAC-10 has been a solid option for short distances. While other SMGs were more popular, the MAC-10 has always been a constant. Season 5 Reloaded has now turned the weapon into a meta staple.
Use the Agency Suppressor and the Task Force Barrel in addition to the Tiger Team Spotlight and the Raider Stock for mobility. To finish off your build you should take the 53 Rnd Magazine with you.

Bullfrog
The Bullfrog also benefitted from the current patch. With high damage and a large magazine of 85 bullets, the weapon is well-equiped to handle close range fights.
Just like the MAC you should keep a balance between range and mobility for your loadout. Use the GRU Suppressor and the Task Force Barrel for their range bonuses. Then improve your mobility with the Tiger Team Spotlight and the KGB Skeletal Stock.

AMP-63
Surprisingly a secondary weapon is also part of the best weapons here. If you like the Ghost perk you can easily take the AMP-63 into battle. It not only deals more damage than the Bullfrog, it also offers higher range. The only downside is its small magazine.

OTs9
Finally we also have the OTs9. This SMG has a high fire rate coupled with high damage and has the fastest Time-to-kill. Make sure to also balance out precision and mobility here.
