Season 4 Reloaded – How to play the current assault rifle meta in Warzone

A lot of weapons deal less damage now because of the balance changes. As a result, we have a lot of variety and the most diverse meta ever. Here is how you utilize the strengths the assault rifles.

If you want to play something different, you could try the Crossbow. Maybe you will hit shots like these:

C58

Ever since its release the C58 was one of the strongest assault rifles. After the biggest balance patch in the history of Warzone this gun now places on top of all ARs. That is due to the extremly high damage and controllable recoil.

You should use the Agency Suppressor and the Task Force Barrel to get the highest damage range and bullet velocity. Next, equip the Field Agent Grip to reduce the recoil. Since it is a long range gun you should use an optic like the Axial Arms 3x. Finally you can top it off with the 55 Rnd Magazine.

Attachments for the C58:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: STANAG 55 Rnd
Krig 6

Ever since the Cold War integration the Krig 6 was a viable choice since it has extremely low recoil. But it grew unpopular as the developers released new guns with higher damage and faster TTKs. While the majority of assault rifles received nerfs to their damage profile the Krig was buffed instead.

For that reason the Krig 6 is one of the best options now to take down enemies across long distances. Therefore you should spec for a longrange build. This includes building for recoil control, bullet velocity and effective damage range.

Attachments for the Krig 6:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15.5” CMV Mil-Spec
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd
FARA 83

The FARA 83 is in a very good position as well. While offering higher damage than the Krig 6 it also has less recoil than the C58. You can play the FARA in a lot of different situations but its biggest strength lies in its long range capabilities.

Attachments for the FARA 83:

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.7″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd
QBZ-83

Finally there is the QBZ-83. For the longest period players avoided this gun but now it is among the best assault rifles. This rifle is our insider tip since a lot of players have not recognized its true value. The QBZ is almost identical with the Krig 6 in a lot of areas. Whoever is in search for an assault rifle with almost no recoil should try this weapon.

Attachments for the QBZ-83:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15.5” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd Drum

As you can see there is a lot of variety. Just try different guns and see what you like the best. Every single one of these weapons feels different and has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Generally speaking you could play almost any assault rifle. Older meta options like the AMAX, the M4A1 or the Grau 5.56 are viable as well.
