Three world class strikers are up vor the vote in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. They have the chance to become the 12th man in this years’ Team of the Year (TOTY). Players can vote which one of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah or Karim Benzema will make the cut.
Voting on all platforms
Players on all platforms will have the chance to cast their vote. During the login to FIFA Ultimate Team you will be led to a special voting screen, to decide between the three strikers. This allows another chance for those three to get the elusive TOTY nomination.
While Benzema has had a rung of good form, Salah and Ronaldo are the favourites for this vote. Not only because of the Premier League bias within the community, but also because Salah is the best striker of the current season, while Ronaldo was the top scorer of 2020/2021’s Serie A.
Release of TOTY’s 12th Man on Friday?
Last year Lionel Messi got into the TOTY through the bonus vote. The results were announced on Friday, January 29. It is very likely that EA will keep to that schedule in this year as well and release the 12th man on Friday.
Last week we got the three strikers of the years’ TOTY. They were Robert Lewandowski (FC Bayern München), Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain) and Lionel Messi (also PSG). With another striker joining those three, there will be even more offensive firepower in the special cards.
