After two weeks, the LEC is officially in full swing as all teams have played their first five games. Though still early in the Spring Split, the standings have already begun to solidfy as clear favorites emerged.
Rogue and Fnatic remain the only two undefeated teams in the LEC, both two wins ahead of the bottom eight. As the rest of the LEC vies for positioning, viewers can only wonder how long both teams can stay on top.
Rogue – The cleanest gameplay in the LEC?
After their offseason moves bringing on Comp and Malrang, few expected Rogue to contend for the top like team did in 2021. The two new additions have proven themselves as serious assets to an already dangerous core roster however, as Comp specifically has thrived in the new environment.
Among fellow bottom laners, the Greek ADC lands first in KP (81.5%), second in overall kills (31), and second in KDA (15). Alongside two solo laners each leading the pack in their own respect, Rogue’s ceiling may be higher than ever.
Fnatic’s new super team
Whereas the Fnatic of 2021 was an aggressive and fastpaced, this new iteration of the roster is far more measured. Fnatic boasts some of the best map and neutral objective control in the LEC, with the second highest dragon (70%), first dragon (80%), and baron (86%) rates. Able to capitalize off of these objective leads, Fnatic’s solid core have shown themselves more than capable of closing out games.
Fnatic came incredibly close to winning its first title since 2018, the 2021 squad fell just short. With this new and improved super team, Fnatic may have the right ingredients to finally lift the trophy again.
