Riot saying that Silco from Arcane won’t make it into League of Legends

Riot Games revealed that Silco, an original character from the Netflix animated series Arcane, will join Teamfight Tactics. This will be the first time that a champion will be added to the auto-chess game but not the main League of Legends title.

In a TFT developer update, Riot described the challenge of designing Silco by stating “Typically, we’re able to adapt League of Legends champions to Teamfight Tactics, with, well, a lot of work, but Silco isn’t coming to League of Legends, so we’ve had to build him from the ground up,”

Riot Games have confirmed that Silco will not be integrated into League of Legends following his release to Teamfight Tactics. He will remain an TFT exclusive champion as he is put into the latest set. It has also not bee revealed what roles within the game Silco will fill, but considering his relation to Zaun he may align himself with other in-lore Zaunites. Though Silco will not join League of Legends, Riot Games has already hinted at more champions from the show being added.
