Earlier Riot Games went on to announce there’ll be four new champions coming to summoners rift throughout the year, with the first one being jungler Viego, The Ruined King. Viego will also feature as the villain in the upcoming RPG game ”Ruined King: A League of Legends Story”.
Riot Games gave an update on Viego’s abilities. With his passive Sovereign’s Domination, Viego possesses an enemy champion he helped in killing and heals back some of his health, with his abilities becoming that of the enemy he killed. His Q is a forward strike with his blade which will have a passive dealing a percentage of the target’s current health as bonus damage, striking twice if the enemy was recently hit. With his W Viego can dash forward and throw up mist, stunning and damaging the first enemy he hit.
His E will be used to spread out a mist around a wall. When Viego resides inside the mist, he’ll become camouflaged and gains movement speed and attack speed. Finally, his R will cause Viego to release any of the bodies he is possessing while teleporting forward and attacking the champion with the lowest percentage health that is currently in range, dealing bonus damage based on their health in the process.
“No price is too great. No atrocity beyond my reach. For her… I will do anything.”🗡

It’ll be interesting to see how Viego fits in the current line-up of champions, having some abilities and visuals that are fairly reminiscent of Sylas, Kayn and Akali. Players can look forward to meeting Viego in the PBE later this month.
