Wild Rift, Riot Games mobile League of Legends game, continues to expand as the developer details more updates and champions they’ll be releasing in the upcoming months.
Riot Games announced their plans for the next months in a developer post on the Wild Rift website. In the upcoming month Wild Rift will receive a spectator mode, which allows players to watch back their recent matches, alongside a brand new in-game event called Lunar Beast, taking place at the same time as the one in the main game. In March the game will receive a few more skins called Omega Squad and Project, which are already a part of the regular League of Legends game.

Most importantly Riot Games detailed the champions they’ll be adding to the game, increasing the available champion pool which right now is still rather small. The first new champions that’ll be added are popular bot lane duo Xayah and Rakan, who’ll of course be released together, but Riot has yet to share an official release date. Up next are Katarina, Leona, Diana and Pantheon who’ll be released in March.
Even though Riot shared a lot of information about their upcoming ideas, they assured there are still some surprises left, meaning the door is still open for even more content to come to Wild Rift alongside the ones they’ve announced.
