Riot Games confirms Seraphine, shows new Ultimate Skin

Riot Games has confirmed that Seraphine will be the next new League of Legends champion to hit the rift after months of speculation and teasers. She’ll be playable on the PBE (Public Beta Environment) starting October 13 and is scheduled to hit the live servers on October 29.

The release of Seraphine has been hyped up a lot through the use of social media, on which Seraphine herself has accounts, and music (covers) published through SoundCloud. Seraphine will be the newest member of Riot Games’ K/DA, further emphasizing the music and sound theme she is based on.

When it comes to her abilities on the rift there’s no concrete information just yet, even though supposed data leaks on Wild Rift have been discovered. We do know that Seraphine will be a mid laner and/or support champion, which might suggest that she will be a damage-dealing mage similar in playstyle to the likes of Zyra and Brand.

Alongside the confirmation of Seraphine as the next new champion, Riot Games also revealed an Ultimate skin for her, based on her joining K/DA. The skin serves to celebrate the new K/DA song that’s coming out called ‘ALL OUT’ and it will be dynamic, meaning the skin will evolve as the game progresses. It’s the first Ultimate skin that Riot Games has made since Elementalist Lux back in 2018 and it’s the first time a champion has gotten one on the day of release.
