Rekkles first player in LEC history to reach 2,000 kills

Arguably the best marksman to ever play the game in the LEC, Rekkles added another trophy to his name. He is the first player ever to reach 2,000 kills in the league.

He had led the LEC in kills in multiple seasons and is in a select club of players who finished a regular season with a double-digit KDA. Last spring’s split he boasted a 12.6 KDA with only 18 deaths. Last time this happened in the LEC was Rekkles with a 13.5 KDA, back in 2018.

In his last game against Rogue, Rekkles added 11 kills and 3 assists to his tally to get over that 2,000 kill mark. While doing so he made sure G2 went on to a 2-0 week.

During this Summer Split, he is third in total kills with 51, only behind Carzzy and Upset. At the same time, he has only died 11 times, and has one of the best early game farming stats of any LEC ADC.

Larsson has won four LEC championships with Fnatic and has won four regular season MVP Awards. He has been voted in four LEC All-Pro First Teams.

He shocked fans all over the world by joining Fnatic’s rivals G2 Esports at the end of 2020, after five and a half years with the Swedish organization.

Despite not winning a championship, Rekkles and G2 are definitely looking for revenge and a chance to represent Europe at this year’s World Championship in China.
