Real Madrid star Casemiro says he feels more pressure playing CS:GO than football

Brazilian football player Casemiro, who currently plays for Real Madrid, talked about CS:GO and how it compares to being on the football pitch.

Casemiro talked about CS:GO in an interview with a Spanish football site called MARCA, explaining he gets very nervous when he streams the game on his Twitch channel. “When I stream CS:GO people can see everything and when I don’t do well they let me know. I get more nervous when playing Counter-Strike than when I have to play at Bernabéu, I just have this feeling that there is more pressure on me when I’m playing CS:GO rather than football.”

Talking about playing CS:GO professionally, Casemiro admits that he doesn’t have what it takes. He also rather prefers staying back a little and playing more defensively on the map, similar to the position he plays over at Real Madrid.

When it comes to CS:GO, Casemiro is a big fan. In November of 2020 he went on to found his own team under the name of CaseEsports, which features an entire roster of Brazilian players. The team has yet to see big success, but Casemiro acknowledged that building a strong foundation takes time.  “I know that creating a new team and winning titles will take time and require a lot of work, but I hope that the players and the fans will really enjoy this project.”
