Precise, Deadly and Versatile – The Best Assault Rifles for Warzone Season 4

Assault Rifles have become more versatile than ever since the release of Season 4. Regardless of short or long ranges or if you prefer allrounders, ARs are you best option. Here are some of the best setups for different situations:

Fara – Long range

Although the Fara 83 was recently nerfed, it is still the best rifle for long distances. A high rate of fire as well as low recoil make it a lot easier to hit opponents far away. To properly take advantage of those benefits your loadout should further improve range, bullet velocity and recoil control. In terms of attachments that means the following: GRU Suppressor, 18.7″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel and the Spetsnaz Grip. Alternatively you can also choose the GRU Elastic Wrap if you do not mind the recoil. Finally you take the Axial Arms 3x optic and the Spetsnaz 60 Rnd magazine with you.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.7″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd

AK-47 – Close Quarters

The AK-47 offers a lot of damage but is balanced out by the large recoil. Naturally few players like to use the AK over long distances, but recoil and accuracy become less important if you are up close. Which is why the AK-47 does well in close quarters, usually an area reserved for SMGs. The additional benefit is of course that you can still use the AK outside of house fighting.

Utilizing the AK-47 to its full potential means focusing on the mobility it provides. The GRU Elastic Wrap and the KGB Skeletal Stock improve exactly that. You should also use the regular 45 Rnd Magazine and forgo an extra barrel to keep your speed up. Recoil control, bullet velocity and range will be provided by your GRU Suppressor.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Magazine: 45 Rnd
  • Handle: GRU Elastic Wrap
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock

XM4 – Sniper Support

The most versatile AR is the XM4. Due to its balanced nature you can use the weapon in all situations. The following loadout uses it as sniper support weapon that matches mobility with accuracy. The 13.5″ Task Force Barrel and the Microflex LED optic offer you the precision you need. The Airborne Elastic Wrap and the regular suppressor increase your mobility and to top the weapon off we suggest a 60 Rnd Magazine.

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force
  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd
  • Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap

XM4 – Long Range

You can of course also use the XM4 as an option for long range. You just need to adjust your loadout a bit. The Agency Suppressor, 13.5″ Task Force Barrel and the Field Agent Grip are a must for recoil control and bullet velocity. Additionally we suggest a larger optic and a 60 Rnd Magazine.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 13.5” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd

C58 – Long Range

The final AR on our list is the C58. This weapon deals more damage than the Fara 83 but is harder to play as it has a lower rate of fire and more recoil. But if you are confident in your aim you can build an extremely strong rifle for long distances.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: STANAG 55 Rnd
