Pokimane criticizes VALORANT and says she feels like playing less

Popular streamer Pokimane certainly is no stranger to VALORANT, having played the shooter since release and very regularly streaming the game to her audience. A while ago she also reached the highest rank in the game, being Immortal. While she has certainly enjoyed the game so far and has grinded it out quite a bit, there are some things she wants to see changed.

One of the biggest criticisms Pokimane levelled against VALORANT is the toxicity among players and teammates, which she shared in a tweet on her personal Twitter account Imane. “I love VALORANT so much, but I frequently feel like my life would be better off playing it less. Opening myself up to 4 other people’s toxicity and sexism every single game is simply exhausting.”

It’s not the first time that Pokimane has opened up about the topic of sexism and general toxicity within the VALORANT scene. Back in April she also spoke out about the amount of sexism she faced while playing the game, with multiple female streamers also speaking out and supporting her, saying they face the same issues. It even led to a Riot Games developer speaking out about the issue on Twitter as well.
