Patch 11.5 Preview – Seraphine on the chopping block, Black Cleaver buffs

In the preview for the newest League of Legends patch, Riot says they’ll be buffing items such as Black Cleaver, while Seraphine is on the chopping block.

When it comes to champions, Seraphine has been making waves (literally) in the bot lane, as she’ll see a few nerfs. The same goes for Udyr, who is still too capable in the jungle and Gragas, who offers a bit too much flex potential at the moment. Both Pyke and Karma are looking at buffs, as both have felt a little underpowered in the support role (with the latter still having flex potential of course), while solo queue terror Master Yi will get buffed as well.

As far as item changes go, three items are on the list to be buffed. These items are Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius and Serpent’s Fang. Black Cleaver will get more health added alongside a cost in gold. Maw will get a reduction in cost while Serpent’s Fang sees changes to its passive, which now reduces enemy shield by 50% (25% for ranged champions) for three seconds upon damaging an enemy champion. Finally, Stridebreaker sees its power shift, with its 100% AD damage reduced to 75% and its slow lowered from 60% to 40%. The dash will be increased, however.
