OpTic Gaming announce return of Karma as analyst and content creator

One of the most iconic Call of Duty players in Damon “Karma” Barlow will be returning to OpTic Gaming, this time as an analyst and content creator.

Karma is a well-known face within the Call of Duty community, only having retired as a professional player back in 2020, now focusing more on content creation and most notably streaming, where he gathered a significant following. Due to Karma joining OpTic Gaming, he’ll keep streaming on his Twitch channel while helping out with and appearing on YouTube videos for OpTic.

The return of Karma was announced in a brief Twitter video, where Hector “Hecz” Rodriguez shows the Karma announcement has been in the works for quite a while. Karma has been a big part of the history within OpTic, playing for the organization for almost five years, joining back in 2014. When the Call of Duty League was announced and all teams were making up their rosters, Karma decided to move to the Seattle Surge as a player. During the span of his career he gathered quite a few trophies such as the World Championship on both CompLexity Gaming and OpTic Gaming.

Karma won’t just be creating content, as he’ll also serve as an analyst to help out the OpTIc Chicago Call of Duty League team. He’ll be helping out the current head coach of the organization, Troy “Sender” Michaels.
