OG change up roster yet again as they bench ISSAA

Esports organization continues to shake up its CS:GO roster, as they’ve now decided to move ISSAA to the bench.

With the online era continuing for the time being, some teams seem to struggle. A bunch of teams have focused on having all the players at bootcamp locations in Europe, yet that was not a possibility for every team. OG has decided to bench their second player in recent times, with Issa ‘ISSAA’ Murad being moved to inactive, partially due to latency issues.

The Jordanian player has followed Nathan ‘NBK’ Schmitt to the bench, meaning that OG has to start rebuilding their team in a relatively short period of time. With Nikolaj ‘Niko’ Kristensen still being a stand-in there is now one more slot to fill before the next official matches. Luckily there is still about a month left before they have to play in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021, as they have not been able to make it through the ESL Pro League Season 13 group stage.

High ping

As ISSAA lives in Jordan, his latency to European servers of course is slightly worse than that of his competitors. The coach of OG, Casper ‘ruggah’ Due, has said he is sad that he couldn’t give ISSAA the optimal situation to perform to his capabilities, but he still believes that he can show his worth elsewhere. Currently benched, ISSAA has stated on Twitter that he will provide an update about his future in the next few days. Who could fill his spot though? Will Chris ‘ChrisJ’ de Jong get a shot in the try outs as he missed out on a position at FPX?
