nitr0 to compete in VALORANT?

Is another big CS:GO name making his way to VALORANT? After leaving CS:GO behind, Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella might become a professional VALORANT player after teams reportedly reached out to him for his services.

Many teams are after the former Team Liquid player, looking to make him a part of their line-up. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as nitr0 is one of the most accomplished American players in the CS:GO scene, winning multiple prizes as part of his 5-year stay at Team Liquid. These accomplishments include winning the Intel Grand Slam Season 2, as well as multiple first place finishes at events such as ESL One Cologne 2019 and IEM Chicago.

Nitr0 certainly wouldn’t be the first CS:GO player to make the leap towards the increasingly popular VALORANT scene. Just recently Team Liquid announced their VALORANT roster, which included former CS:GO professional player Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom. Other players that switched games are Spencer “Hiko” Martin who moved to 100 Thieves and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham, who currently plays for T1.

VALORANT has seen more and more success in the past months, with multiple events taking place. The most recent one was the FaZe Clan Invitational which was won by TSM after some very exciting series. It remains to be seen if nitr0 will take the leap towards competing in VALORANT, but if he decides to do so he’ll certainly be in some great company. Adding nitr0 to any roster will certainly be a boost to any line-up.
