A new SMG has been introduced to Call of Duty: Vanguard, the Welgun. In order to unlock it you need to fulfill one of two tasks. We will show you both challenges and show you which one is faster.

Unlocking the Welgun through Zombies
The first option for unlocking is in the Zombies game mode. The task is to score five critical kills with a SMG in 50 different Portal zones. Critical kills are usually headshots and take a bit of time. We would recommend the second method for unlocking.
Unlocking the Welgun in Multiplayer
The Multiplayer route is faster for the Welgun unlock. You only need to score 10 kills with a SMG in 15 different matches. You have to aim down your sights for those to count. Also keep in mind that rounds have to be played until the end to count for the challenge.
YouTuber and CoD Expert JGOD recommends the Free-for-All mode to score the kills the fastest. Once you have reached the required number of kills you can play the Welgun.
