New Warzone mode Iron Trials ’84 to offer a new challenge to veterans

Many players have clamored for a game mode that is a lot more skill-based in Warzone. Now the developers have listened and introduced Iron Trials ’84 to Warzone.

Strict adjustments to Loadout Drops and more HP are their way to fulfill that wish.

The new game mode has Operators start with 250 HP, which can even be expanded to 400 with Armor Plates. In order to take out your opponents in Iron Trials ’84 you need to hit more than just one lucky shot now.

The increased amount of HP also means that snipers are not unable to kill in one hit anymore. This means that you do not have to worry about suddenly dying without any chance of seeing where the shot came from. This in turn increases the average match length with more chances for everyone. Players can also fall from far higher places without taking fall damage in Iron Trials ’84.

Iron Trials ’84 is supposed to be a preview of how a ranked mode would look like in Warzone. Especially for the competitively minded players the mode should offer a new challenge. Every operator starts with a .44 Magnum and a Sledgehammer.

Shorter round times for faster-paced games

The core principle behind the Battle Royale will remain the same, but with a couple of adjustments. Raven Software has reduced the round timer by twelve percent and increased the speed of the circle collapse by twelve percent as well. This shortens matches by two minutes.

Iron Trials ’84 will also not have any free Loadout Drops anymore. You need to pay a lot to get your customised Loadouts into the match. The vehicles were also limited as only Dirt Bikes and ATVs are available.

Loot has also been touched upon, especially the spawn rates for epic and legendary weapons. All in all Raven Software has introduced plenty of changes to Warzone to offer a new challenge to veterans.
