New Vanguard Game Mode Champion Hill: Tips & Tricks

Champion Hill is a new game mode in Call of Duty Vanguard that combines features of several modes. The game puts together several teams of two or three, but only one wins the game. Unlike many modes in CoD, this game mode is not about simple running and gunning as it will require strategy and coordination to win.

Champion Hill is most comparable to a mixture of Team Death Match, Gun Game, and any given Battle Royale game. Each team of two has twelve lives to start with combined between the players. Once your team drops to zero, you are eliminated. The last remaining team leaves Champion Hill victorious.

Tips for surviving Champion Hill

As simple as it sounds, survive. Throwing away lives is a quick way to ensure that your team ends up in dead last. Play carefully and look to punish the mistakes and over aggression of your adversaries.

Make sure to pick up money on the ground. Keeping your cash flow is important for buying items and also for upgrading your weapons inbetween rounds. If you save $10,000 you can purchase the V2 Rocket, capable of wiping out the entire battlefield for your squad.

Don’t horde all of your wealth though, killstreaks and perks will be important to winning rounds and surviving. Perks such as Ghost are incredibly useful tools in keeping you off the radar, giving you the element of surprise and a leg up on the competition.
