New Reality Show featuring The Sims

One of the most beloved franchises in the gaming scene, “The Sims” has been entertaining fans for 20 years already. Now The Sims are about to hit the TV.

Sims as competitive game? American companies TBS and Buzzfeed have decided to give this concept a shot in cooperation with ELEAGUE. The result is a reality TV show called “The Sims Spark’d“.

Various personalities will play The Sims 4 with the aim to tell compelling and interesting stories ingame. A jury consisting of three members including actress Tayla Parx, who had also voiced a Sim in The Sims 4, will then judge the gameplay. The best storyteller can look forward to winning $100,000 as prize.

With focus on storytelling and creativity the competitors will be able to go all out in order to touch the hearts of the jurors and the audience.

The Sims Spark’d will air on July 17 and encompass four episodes. After airing they will also be available as video on demand.
