A first leak that showcases the first infos regarding the new champion in League of Legends has surfaced. While the introduction of Gwen in Patch 11.8 is still new, the past week has seen a buzz of rumours and reports for what is reportedly going to be a new Mid Laner.
On Reddit and the Twitter “lolweibo_EN” a roadmap from the Chinese LoL website was leaked. According to those the new champion will be a Mid Laner, who “isn’t a classical marksman”.
Lorewise the champion is supposedly part of the “Sentinels of Light” like Senna and Lucian. How exactly the Mid Laner is supposed to not be like any other ADC remains to be seen.
The translation on Reddit continues to elaborate on the character of the new champion. Supposedly the Mid Marksman will have a unique role in the current Champion roster and will also have different tools to either focus on roaming the map or keeping pace on the lane. However details are still unknown.
Riot Games has not said anything in regards to these leaks so far. Officially there is not even a release date fixed yet for a new champion.
