The information stems from leaks found in the code of the most recent Warzone patch, which seemingly contained some hints as to what we’re getting with the Vanguard integration as well as when it’ll be happening. As of now it looks very likely we’ll be getting a new content drop which features all the new content for Warzone at once, and according to the leaks we’ll be getting it on December 7. These dates are of course mostly guesswork. Vanguard itself is releasing on November 5.

In the code the data miners found a hint towards ‘chapter 3’, with Modern Warfare and Black Ops: Cold War being the previous 2 chapters, building on the existing Warzone. Within that part of the code they also found the line “Chapter 3 coming December 7th”, again pointing towards the December 7 release.

The new map we’re getting in Warzone is a pacific map and we already saw some screenshots to prepare us. It looks like we’re getting a more colorful map this time around, with more mountains and hillsides instead of the buildings we saw in previous maps (although they’re obviously still there). The playstyle will certainly be different this time around as there’s a lot of cover on the map and plants, mist and mountains obscuring the view.
