The Coven skin line is expanding as six new champions were added to the roster.
Earlier today, July 20th, Riot Games announced that six new champions would be added to the Coven skin-line. Splash art of these new coven members were dropped by several different Riot Games Twitter accounts. The League of Legends UK, IE, and Nordic Twitter primarily revealed the new champions. The list of champions added to the Coven include: Ahri, Cassiopeia, Ashe, Malphite, Warick, and Evelynn.
New comers to the skin line will join Camille, LeBlanc, Morgana, Zyra, and Lissandra. Traditionally a skin line for the female champions, Warwick and Malphite, albeit ‘monster’ champions, will be the first males to join the lineup. The new six skins are not yet live on the shop, but will be available in the PBE.
The new release of skins will also feature a new legendary skin. LeBlanc, already a member of the Coven, will be given a prestige skin. It is unsure how long this skin will be available for at the moment. Despite featuring new additions to the coven lineup, the color scheme still features the dreary greys, dark blues, and blacks that gives the lineup its ominous and cryptic feel.
The highlights of this skin drop definitely include Evelynn’s new skin. Her new skin certainly fits into her standing roster of available skins and the tint of red gives a very distinct feel to this fan favorite skin line.
