There are a lot of different hitzones for Call of Duty: Warzone. It is common knowledge that headshots deal more damage while arm and leg shots do less. These zones act as damage multipliers.
A lot of content creators are aware that there are more zones for those multipliers than head, arms, legs and body. However it was seen as too difficult with too little to gain to test those smaller damage zones. But with new information and insights it is worth to take a look at them.

The most important discovery is the neck multiplier. Although it was known for quite some time a lot of players just ignored it. Theorycrafter TrueGameData took a closer look at the neck multiplier and discovered, that it is way bigger than initially thought.

The neck zone is where players thought the upper chest to be. As you can see the hitzone is quite big.
Why it is important
The neck multiplier is quite high on some weapons. Since it is larger than expected you can hit shots quite easily. Additionally the game always uses the highest multiplier to calculate the damage. If you shoot an enemy and hit him in the arm first and the head afterwards it is still considered a headshot.

With these new insights some weapons will become meta again. One of those is the XM4. With the neck multiplier it can deal quite a lot of damage making it viable as a solid option once again.

Other weapons are stronger than initially thought as well. The OTs 9 is already quite dominant in close quarter engagements but this solidifies its strong position. A good reason to take a look at our OTs 9 guide.
