Nairo to stream again after legal agreement with CaptainZack following sexual misconduct allegations

Smash Bros. player Nairoby “Nairo” Quezada has broken the silence, as he released a video talking about the CaptainZack allegations and his plans to enter streaming and Smash again.

Nairo’s name was one that popped up when sexual misconduct allegations ran rampant in the Super Smash Bros. scene, with him being accused of alleged sexual misconduct by Zack “CaptainZack” Lauth. According to CaptainZack he was in a relationship of a sexual nature with Nairo, when the former was only 15 years old, and accused Nairo of paying him money to keep silent. Nairo went to court over the allegations, deeming them false.

In an update video posted to his YouTube channel, Nairo now talks about the case, saying both parties have reached a legal agreement and that the legal issue is now over. He also went on to talk about a possible return to streaming and Smash. “I don’t know what’s going to happen or how people are going to react to this, but I want to move forward. As you guys know, I’m permanently banned on Twitch but I did submit an appeal. I’ve always thought of Twitch as my home, but we’ll see how it goes.”

Nairo ends his video by saying he understands that not everyone will support or accept him right away. Comments from his community and on the video he posted have been mostly favourable, however.
