Mousesports sign acoR to CS:GO roster

Mousesports has signed Danish player Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand to their CS:GO roster, who previously played for MAD Lions. Chances are we’ll get to see him in action soon.

The move to sign acoR comes following plans within mousesports to shake up the roster, which they confirmed in a Twitter post following the announcement of their new player. According to mousesports, acoR will fill the vacant position that’ll be left by Chris “ChrisJ” de Jong who has recently been heavily linked to the new CS:GO roster of FunPlus Phoenix. It would be a monumental step for both mousesports and ChrisJ, after the latter spent over seven years with the organization.

There’s also a good chance mousesports will go looking for another player, as Karrigan might be on his way out of the team. Karrigan has not signed a contract extension with mousesports yet and is likely looking for opportunities elsewhere. Reports have linked him to his former team FaZe Clan.

The 23-year-old acoR makes the move from MAD Lions, where he resided ever since the organization acquired the Tricked Esport roster in December 2019. The Danish AWPer was one of the top performers in his stay with MAD Lions, helping them secure first place in Flashpoint 1. Mousesports announced that acoR will make his debut at cs_summit 7 soon, which starts on Monday January 25. More information about cs_summit 7 can be found here.
