Mousesports rebrands to MOUZ, shows new logo

Mousesports is a German-based esports organization with active rosters in CS:GO, League of Legends, and other titles. The iconic mouse-like brand had followed the organization for over 20 years. Created in 2002, players carried the original Mousesports logo into countless Majors in CS:GO.

In their statement, MOUZ stated that the decision to rebrand was made to clarify their classic mouse image. In original logo was meant to represent a mouse-head and the hand of a player using a mouse. As they state “This lore faded over the course of many years, so newer fans wouldn’t even know.”

Now, MOUZ is going for a more straightforward look that is more easily identifiable. Also in their blog post, MOUZ describes their sudden change as “A powerful logo that unfolds its potential when you see it in a lot of different occasions.” This new logo and attitude will soon be found across the team’s content and merchandising.

Though changing their classic logo to a striking, angular, and more pixelated  look, the organization have kept their red and white colors. MOUZ will debut their new logo and jerseys at the CS:GO PGL Major in Stockholm, Sweden.

Most known for their presence in the CS:GO scene, it is only apt that they should make their first appearance at the first Major in almost two years. This event will run from October 26th to November 7th.
