Ludwig sees YouTube account suspended after only three days of streaming on the platform

Things have been going well for Ludwig recently. He’s made a huge move, leaving Twitch behind to go stream on YouTube, which could become a statement transfer within the streaming industry. On the streaming side of things however, Ludwig ran into a slight issue, as his YouTube channel got suspended after only three solid days of streaming.

Ludwig shared the news on Twitter, showing a screenshot of his suspended stream for ‘policy reasons’. “You could say the switch has been going well… .” Ludwig was streaming when the ban occured, with over 20,000 people watching as his stream was taken offline. As he was watching other YouTube videos, Ludwig got hit with a DMCA ban.

Ludwig himself went on to confirm that this was indeed the case and the issue was indeed related to DMCA. While he was streaming he was going through some of the most popular YouTube videos of all time, which included the song ‘Baby Shark’, which he ended up playing for a few seconds. Ludwig commented on the ban, while saying he never got banned on Twitch in four years of streaming. “Okay it looks to me like DMCA may be a little more of a concern than I originally imagined”
