LPL gives IWillDominate permission to co-stream the 2021 Summer Split

Popular Twitch streamer and former professional League of Legends player IWillDominate has been given co-streaming rights for the 2021 LPL Summer Split.

IWillDominate, who has always been a huge fan of the region and the style of play as a whole, announced the news on his Twitter page. “Really happy to announce that I’ve been giving co-streaming Privileges for LPL Summer Split 2021. I’m grateful to the LPL for the opportunity and I’m planning on making the most of it during Summer. Let’s get more Westerners interested in the best league in the world!”

More and more people in the West have taken an interest in the LPL in the past few years, especially as the level of play within the region has grown bigger and bigger. Most recently Chinese organization Royal Never Give Up took home the MSI 2021 trophy after beating out World Champion and LCK representative DWG Kia in the Grand Final, with the team being dominant all tournament.

In contrast to the Western leagues the LPL features a huge pool of talent, boasting a competition with 17 different teams, including huge names such as FunPlus Phoenix, Invictus Gaming, Suning and EDward Gaming. It’ll be interesting to see if the LPL will be allowing more content creators to co-stream the competition as interest continues to go up.
