In a dominant show of form T1 once again climb on top of the Korean region. Led by the legendary Faker T1 takes the championship for the ninth time.
A clear 3-0 sweep against Gen.G – Few expected Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s squad to effortlessly toss their domestic rivals aside. The two best Korean teams met, but only T1 came to play.
Even with CoVid-19 wreaking havoc across the esports landscape the LCK-finals were held offline. Obviously without an audience and with special precautions in place. Those meant that teams also had to arrive at the venue earlier than usual.

T1 had to start the finals with a handicap as they arrived half an hour too late and were not ready in time. The admins decided to withhold the first two bans from them, although Gen.G did not call for a ruling to be made.
So you’re telling @T1LoL are 30 minutes late to LoL Park due to a misunderstanding and LCK takes 2 bans away from us? Way to taint a championship game. We work hard all year. Fine us, take prize money away. Don’t ruin the game. Total bullshit.

But even so T1 did not even break a sweat in the finals and successfully defended their titel from 2019’s Summer Split.
