Leaked CX-9 is back in Warzone – How to play the new SMG

A couple of weeks back several weapons for Modern Warfare were leaked. These could even be found and used in Warzone or the Co-Op Mode in Multiplayer. Now the weapons are slowly being implemented.

Incredible Reload Speed

The CX-9 is a great new SMG choice as it has only moderate recoil and solid damage. But its main draw is the reload speed. Coupled with the Sleight of Hand Perk you can reload in an absurd 86 miliseconds. In less than a second you can empty your 50 Rnd Magazine again into the opposition.

To keep the speedy potential of the weapon, we do not use a barrel in thie build. Instead we use the Monolithic Suppressor and focus on mobility. We use the CX-9 exclusive CX-FR Stock and add the Merc Foregrip for better hip fire.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 50 Rnd Drum
  • Stock: CX-FR
  • Perk: Sleight of Hand

Close Quarters Combat with strong Hip Fire

The CX-9 is similar in recommended attachments to the MP5 and quite strong in close quarters. Specialize your weapon around Hip Fire to stay mobile. Equip the 5mW Laser in addition to the Merc Foregrip.

To keep your speedy build make sure to also use the CX-FR stock. Since you will mostly rely on Hip Fire you can just utilize the CX-38S Barrel and ignore the penalty to Aim Down Sight Speed. To top off the loadout you should take a large magazine with you.

  • Barrel: CX-38S
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Magazine: 50 Rnd Drum
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Stock: CX-FR
CX-9 as Sniper Support

You can also use the CX-9 as Sniper Support. For that role you forego the Stock and use an optic on top to improve your precision. To increase your Aim Down Sight you should utilize the Tac Laser.

  • Barrel: CX-38S
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 50 Rnd Drum
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: G.I. Mini Reflex
