League of Legends Patch 11.4 – The Jungler Tierlist

Looking to get jungling and climb while waiting for the next patch to arrive? We’ve made picking a champion a little easier.

Grinding League Points on patch 11.4 in solo queue can be a difficult task. However, choosing the right champion can help you out a lot. Make sure to select one of a higher tier to ensure that it is not your champion that sucks, but just you. That is why we have ranked some of the champions for you with a short explanation to go along with it. Since the jungle has been the point of attention recently, this tier list will include junglers only.

S-Tier champions

We have some champions that are just too good right now to not pick on Summoners Rift. For the jungle position we are looking at two different playstyles. You can go for the speed jungle clearing in Udyr or the heavily ganking focused pick in Elise. The middle way would be Hecarim, who has a bit of both. Identifying your playstyle is crucial to select a good champion before your game. Time some jungle clears in a custom game to see when the prime opportunity to gank is and how to execute it.

A-Tier Champions

These are not the best of the best but will do simply fine in a ranked game. They are still considered strong champions but lack just that little something to make them S-Tier. This includes champions that are hard to play but even harder to play against. If you master them, you can always outsmart your opponent. If you still look to gank then Lee Sin, Gragas or Xin Zhao are the way to go. However, if you are willing to put in some time to grind the mastery of a champion, Kayn, Evelynn or Kha’Zix are your options. If powerfarming is still your preferred way of approaching a ranked game, look no further than Nidalee, Graves or Lilia.

B-Tier Champions

If you are looking to have some fun, not really caring about how good your champion is, then this is your tier. Champions like Nocturne, Vi and Kindred have a lot of fun interactions especially once they unlock their ultimate ability. If you are looking to PvE all game, Karthus is your way to go. Just farm your jungle and press your R button in time. We would like to also include Fiddlesticks, but we still have nightmares about his engages.

C-Tier Champions

You should only pick these champions if you are very comfortable playing them. They are not especially strong or have a good place in the meta, but can be abused if you have full mastery over them. We are talking about picks like Nunu, Sejuani, Zac and Wukong. They have good options to get off some nice ganks but are very weak once they get counterjungled.

D-Tier Champions

If you are picking these champions, you either have the biggest brain in the whole galaxy or you are just straight up trolling. Things like Poppy or Sylas have no place in the jungle. Unless you are Rat IRL, you should not pick Twitch either. Stick to the champions mentioned above.
