The first day of the fourth week in the LCS has brought us quite a few interesting games, a lot of these going down to the wire.
Evil Geniuses is a team that’s been quite interesting to watch this season and their match against FlyQuest wasn’t an exception. They drafted a Varus-Neeko bot lane for Deftly and IgNar, taking on the Senna-Kench combo over at FlyQuest. Mid laner Jiizuke, a traditionally streaky and inconsistent player, had a great performance this time around on his Orianna, while strong play on Graves from FlyQuest jungler Josedeodo wasn’t enough to turn things around. Evil Geniuses firmly remain a dark horse in the LCS.

TSM has been riding high as of late, but it looked like they were going to lose out to Team Liquid. The latter put a lot of focus on their strong bot lane provided by jungler Santorin, which worked out well early. Yet Team Liquid stumbled as bot laner Tactical was caught out of possession multiple times. The nail in the coffin for Liquid was TSM stealing away the Baron, which sealed their fate. Team Liquid has a lot of issues to resolve, while TSM stays on the rise.

In other matches Cloud9 found an easy victory over struggling Golden Guardians, with Perkz, Blaber and Zven playing a pivotal role. Adding Pobelter again didn’t resolve CLG’s issues (with Pobelter even going 0/5/7) as 100 Thieves outlasted them in a 40 minute back-and-forth slugfest. Finally Dignitas remained the team to watch, as they found a relatively clean victory over Immortals, reaffirming their championship dreams.
