Koosta switches to VALORANT, remains with Gen.G

Kenneth “koosta” Suen will be transitioning to VALORANT from CS:GO, but will remain a part of Gen.G going forward.

With koosta switching over to VALORANT, he’ll remain with Gen.G but will join their VALORANT roster instead. The roster was in need of a fifth player following Keven “PLAYER1” Champagne being moved to the inactive roster in December of 2020. He is currently still looking for a new team and new opportunities.

Koosta himself has a long history in CS:GO in a career that spans over seven years, playing for teams such as Team Liquid, CLG and Cloud9. With CLG he played in the ESL One Cologne 2016, marking his first (and only) appearance at a Major. Other notable finishes as a player are a first place at DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020 and ESL One: Road to Rio NA.

In the Gen.G VALORANT team koosta will be meeting up with Anthony “gMd” Guimond, Danny “huynh” Huynh, Michael “MkaeL” De Luca and Shawn “Shawn” O’Riley. Their performance has been mixed at best, with their most notable finishes being a 4th place at the FaZe Clan Invitational before falling to Immortals and a first place finish at the Pittsburgh Knights invitational, defeating Dignitas in the finals.
