Kay was removed from FaZe Clan ever since the #SaveTheKids crypto scandal hit the news, with them also suspending Jarvis, Teeqo and Nikan. While Teeqo has been welcomed back to the organization, Kay will now be departing FaZe Clan. Kay has been under fire recently after he made multiple apology videos in regards to the crypto scandal, trying to prove and provide evidence that he’s innocent.
To announce the news Kay uploaded a video to his YouTube channel which was titles “Goodbye FaZe Kay | A New Beginning” where he talks about the fresh start, leaving FaZe and the new videos and content he’s got lined up for his viewers. He goes on to say that he’s done with being fake and that he just wants to be himself again going forward, entertaining his fans and viewers.
While Kay may have left FaZe Clan now, the drama and controversy surrounding the crypto scandal and #SaveTheKids is still ongoing and it’s likely that we’ll get even more updates on it in the future. There’s a good chance that there’ll be legal repercussions for some of those involved, but Kay seems to be pulling away from the topic as much as possible.
