K0nfig & blameF move to Astralis, ave added as coach

Astralis has announced that former Complexity players Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke will be joining their CS:GO roster. They’ll have some time to settle in with the team as they prepare to play their first matches towards the end of November, when Astralis is set to participate in the BLAST Premier Fall Final. Astralis also brought in coach Alexander “ave” Holdt. “The two players will join the team immediately, and they will have their baptism of fire in front of 12,000 spectators at BLAST in Copenhagen’s Royal Arena.”

The signings were part of a replacement, as two players (and zonic) are out of contract and will be looking for a new team when their contract runs out in January. “The two players and coach will replace Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Reif, and Danny “zonic” Sørensen, who will part with Astralis no later than January when their contracts expire.”

blameF spoke about the signing in a press release made public by Astralis, talking about how he’s looking forward to playing for the team. “I am excited to play with “gla1ve”, one of the very best in-game leaders in the world. It means I can concentrate more on my own game and become a better player for myself and my teammates. Walking into Royal Arena with the Astralis logo on my chest in front of all the amazing fans is a dream come true, and I will work hard every single day to give the fans what they crave.”
