Jett bugs may not be fixed until VALORANT Patch 3.09

Jett has recently suffered from the emergence of two new bugs in her kit. After the Agent’s Tailwind ability, the time to equip her weapon is longer than intended. The second bug is the increased cost of Cloud burst. Countless players have reported these bugs and in an announcement today, Riot even publicly acknowledged the issues.

In a Twitter announcement from the official VALORANT account, Riot Games stated that the fixes will not come out until Patch 3.09. While admitting that the issues are prevalent, devs stated that the bugs are not ‘game breaking.’ VALORANT devs cited that they do not want to risk a patch redeploy, and will therefore wait until Patch 3.09.

Patch 3.08 was released only yesterday, so Patch 3.09 is likely fairly far out. Jett is already one of the most controversial Agents in VALORANT. Her dash ability paired with an Operator has been considered the most powerful duos ever since the beta.

Professional players have documented the bugs individually and have largely lamented the current state of the Agent. Recently, Riot Games slightly nerfed the duelist Agent. Nerfs to Jett’s knife equip time and increased ability costs have worked to balance the Agent.

Still, these bugs are completely separate from Jett’s adjustments. While Jett mains may have to risk these bugs for the next few weeks, fixes will allegedly come with the next Patch.
