Is Pokémon Legends: Arceus getting DLC soon?

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has hit the shelves and many Pokémon fans the world over are enjoying the game. While there’s quite a bit to do in the game itself, some leaks have reportedly surfaced which might indicate that some form of DLC is coming to the game soon and it might be linked to Pokémon Day, which takes place on February 27. This means we could get DLC in just over a month after the game’s release.

One of the most reliable leakers when it comes to Pokémon, Riddler Khu, squashed any big and lofty expectations of fans. “Saw tons of hilarious speculations about a free DLC thing. Anyway, a game lacking online battle features will flop soon after you finish shiny hunting everything you want. Or just wait a couple of weeks for that free thing and can’t help but complain.”

The DLC itself is theorized to be a small update to the game according to many fans, that would add some more trainers to battle in a ‘battle facility’ of sorts, alongside introducing some of the older Pokémon into the game. In any case, we can only wait and see. Considering past disappointments with Pokémon and DLC, it’s best not to get our hopes up.
