Is League Play finally coming to Black Ops Cold War?

Fans may finally be getting what they’ve been wishing for ever since the start of Black Ops: Cold War as League Play me be added to the game soon, allowing players to face off against each other in a competitive and ranked setting.

League Play has been one of the most universally loved playlists ever since it was added in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Competitive players have been clamoring for the playlist to make a triumphant return in the newest installation of the game, Black Ops: Cold War, and now it seems like it’ll finally be added as we enter the second season.

The information surrounding League Play was leaked by Tom Henderson, who talked about it in a video. “League Play is scheduled for this quarter, so between now and March. We should be getting it in Season 2. It could be halfway Season 2. But I was told it was for quarter 1 of 2021.” According to this information, we can expect some more details on the eventual release in the upcoming weeks.

With Treyarch at the helm it always seemed like League Play would be integrated at some point in time as they’ve dropped clues in the past, with some people disappointed it wasn’t included from the start. If League Play does get released halfway season 2, chances are it’ll arrive roughly at the same time as the Call of Duty League 2021, which apparently is also scheduled for that time.
