Is Ghost useless now? – Undocumented Changes to UAVs

YouTuber and Call of Duty expert JGOD has shared an undocumented change to UAVs that he has found. It allows players to reveal players despite their Ghost perk.

UAVs can be obtained as killstreak after four eliminations and reveal positions of opponents on the minimap for 30 seconds. However if you had the Ghost perk you were not detectable to those UAVs.

But there has been an undocumented change that allows players to reveal opponents despite their Ghost perk. If you stack your UAVs you can call three drones at the same time. This “Super UAV” reveals all opponents within 250-300 meters. Players with the Ghost perk are not exempt from this. They show up as red dots, while others appear as triangles that also show the direction they are facing.

Advanced UAVs have also been reworked and will also reveal all positions regardless of perk. So if you are playing in squads often, you should try this new strategy to gather as much information as you can.
