How to participate in the $250K Call of Duty Warzone Twitch Rivals event

Fans and streamers that focus on Call of Duty Warzone are in luck as Twitch revealed the Twitch Rivals Doritos Bowl tournament, where streamers will compete for the most kills and an impressive 250.000 dollar prize pool. As the event is open to Twitch affiliates and partners alike, even you might get a shot at a piece of that prize pool.

Twitch Rivals announced the Twitch Rivals x Doritos Bowl Warzone event on Twitter and included some more details. People will be able to qualify for the main event through online qualifiers that will be played on December 3. Players that are competing will have to get as many kills as they can in the standard trio format during public matches.

The Main Event will then take place on two seperate days, namely December 8 and December 16 and will play out a little differently. On the first day (December 8), five lobbies will be set up where 49 trio teams will take each other on. There they’ll have to compete for points that’ll be dealt to them based on the amount of kills they can secure and their overall placement at the end of the match. The 24 best teams move on to day 2 on December 16, where they’ll once again compete in private lobbies for points based on kills and placement.

The team that scores the most points at the end of the second day will take home the lion’s share of the prize pool, 45.000 dollars, while the second and third placed team will take home 30.000 and 21.000 dollars respectively. All teams that qualify through the Open Qualifiers will receive a cash prize.
