How to get into the closed beta Hyper Scape Technical Test

Ubisoft has released a beta technical test for their newest Battle Royale Hyper Scape. There are two ways to gain access to the live playtest.

With more than 450,000 viewers on the first day of the technical test on Twitch, Hyper Scape clearly has quite a number of fans interested in it. The two ways to get access to the beta are via Twitch viewing and email lottery.

As the current closed beta only has a limited amount of datacenters right now, only residents of the following countries have a chance to play Hyper Scape early: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the USA

Twitch drops enabled

Akin to the beta test of Riot’s VALORANT earlier this yeary Ubisoft has cooperated with Twitch to enable beta key drops to interested players. To qualify for a Hyper Scape drop you must follow the following steps:

  1. Link your Twitch and Uplay (Ubisoft) accounts.
  2. Watch Hyper Scape streams on Twitch. Make sure that they have drops enabled in their description.
  3. Keep a close eye on your Twitch notifications. You will be notified if you get a drop. Then you can proceed to download the game through the Uplay client.

  1. Visit Hyper Scape’s official website: Hyper Scape
  2. Scroll down until you see “PC Registration sign up for a chance to play”
  3. Click on “Register now” to enter your Ubisoft account into the lottery (or create a new account to participate)
  4. Check your emails regularily or use the website’s “Check your registrations status” to see if you have been chosen. If lucky enough you will soon be able to download and install the game via Uplay.

The closed beta technical test will run from July 2 until July 7 23:59 PST. Ubisoft has yet to announce any concrete details regarding the exact release date and whether or not there will be more betas to follow.
