Kojima took to Twitter to talk about Arcane, calling it ‘a great digital achievement’ among other things. “I’ve watched four episodes of “Arcane”. This is awesome! It’s great! I was invited to a preview before it was released, and I’m sorry I turned it down. Especially him saying that the artistic style of Arcane and the blend of animation and CG is the future of animation is high praise. With the second season of Arcane already being confirmed, it’s not yet clear when we can expect it. As Riot Games and animation studio Fortiche worked around 6 years on the first season, chances are we’ll have to wait a good while longer.
