Grau, M13, QBZ & Krig 6 – The lowest recoil rifles in Season 4 Reloaded

A lot of weapons received a nerf in the recent Season 4 Reloaded Patch. The nerf mainly affected the damage and multipliers to reduce the overall time to kill (TTK). However a few guns got buffed and could potetntially take the spotlight. Assault rifles with very low recoil make up the biggest part of said guns.

Secret tip: QBZ-83

For a long period the QBZ was seen as the worst assault rifle in Black Ops: Cold War. Regardless of the lowest recoil rate among all the rifle got ignored due to its low damage. But with the recent patch the weapon received a buff and can now kill your enemies quicker than the Krig 6 over long distances!

For that reason you should specialize your QBZ-83 for long ranges. Use the Agency Suppressor and the 15.5” barrel for maximum bullet velocity and damage range. Since the weapon is for long distances you should use the 3x scope and the 60 Rnd magazine. To further reduce the recoil you should use the Field Agent Grip. If you are comfortable with the recoil you can also use the Airborne Elastic Wrap instead of the underbarrel.

M13 is like a laser

Anyone who has played Warzone since the beginning knows that the M13 is one of the weapons with the lowest recoil. But players barely use the rifle due to its low damage across short and medium distances. However, it is one of the few weapons that got buffed recently.

The M13 should be played with the same attachments as the majority of the Modern Warfare rifles. Use the Monolithic Suppressor and the longest barrel for bullet velocity and extended damage range. To minimize the horizontal recoil you should apply the Commando Foregrip. Additionally we suggest the 60 Rnd magazine and a bigger optic like the VLK 3.0x.

Krig 6: The new meta?

After the recent nerf of the Fara the Krig 6 has a high chance of becoming the best assault rifle for long range. The weapon distinguishes itself through low recoil, good mobility while offering acceptable damage.

We suggest the Krig 6 with the long range setup for Cold War guns. For bullet velocity and extended damage range you should use the Agency Suppressor and the 15” barrel. Since it is for long ranges you should equip a bigger optic such as the Axial Arms 3x. For the highest level of precision you should use the Field Agent Grip. For the last attachment we recommend the 60 Rnd magazine.

Fully loaded Grau 5.56

The Grau 5.56 ist probably the best Modern Warfare gun if you can only use four attachments. It has insanely low recoil and has pretty good mobility for an assault rifle. For that reason it is extremly popular with the perk Fully Loaded.

For the classic Grau build you should use the Monolithic Suppressor and the Tempus Archangel barrel. To reduce the recoil even further we suggest the Commando Foregrip. As with all weapons in Warzone you should also use a bigger magazine like the 60 Rnd mag. Since the majority of players mainly use the Grau when they win the Gulag it is no surprise that Fully Loaded is the most popular choice as the fifth attachment. However, if you want to use the Grau as your main drop you should go for the tactical laser instead.

Grau 5.56 with Optic

Although the Grau has a great iron sight, there can still be moments where you want to take an optic with you. If you need more zoom you should swap the perk Fully Loaded for the VLK 3.0x optic.
